I own both, but I prefer Walther. Surprisingly, at least to me, my favorite pistol right now is the Taurus 24/7 .45 acp. Not the gen 2, the first one. Fits my hands, and shoots very well.
I love my P365. When I was cop I carried a P220, and I loved that pistol. There are many fine manufacturers, and Sig Sauer is one of them. If you are looking for a pistol, make sure that you check out the Sigs as part of your selection process. I know they are a bit more expensive, and cost is a factor to consider, but in my case I decided the extra $150 the P365 cost me was worth it. I have a number of SIG’s. A complete set of P250’s with four FCU’s and every possible slide and frame combo you can obtain for every caliber that was available for them.9mm, .40 S&W, .357 SIG and .45 ACP. Nice pistols. Except they are double action only. However the double action is very smooth. They just not easy pistols to get used to shooting. My buddy bought a matched set of Sig Scorpion 45’s about 10 years ago. He brought them over to my home range to check them out. Nice looking guns.
Before the first magazine had been fired through the first, the slide latch flew off. Loaded the second and it did the same thing. Needless to say, I have never seen my buddy so embarrassed.
I’ve looked at other Sig offerings, but those latches flying off those frames never left my mind. I also don’t own any 9mm, I prefer .40.
