I bought this from Kentucky Gun and shipped here to Alabama for $319.99 (cash/check) price OTD (free shipping and no sales tax). The fit and finish on these guns are excellent and they rival a Remington 1911R1 I bought for $646. I have a Tisas Fatih 13 (Beretta 85 clone) in 380 and this gun is very well made and feeds and shoots hundreds of 380 ACP rounds I fired thru it with no issue. The only thing that holds me back when it comes to these clone guns are the availability of spare parts on down the road. Can you use surplus M1911 parts in it or is the cloning strictly cosmetic? I have to say the pricing is very attractive.
I got one and am pleasantly surprised. In a previous article, it indicated that the gun came with one 7 rd magazine. I ordered four Mec-Gar 8 rd mags in anticipation of receiving the gun, plus a bushing wrench. Imagine my surprise on opening the box and finding this gun comes with TWO 8 rd Mec-Gar mags plus a bushing wrench! Seems like a good price for a 1911, as long as you have no problems with it. Unfortunately, my experience with SDS imports has been less than satisfying. I bought one of their Zigana PX9 pistols that has some significant defects, but the company would not stand behind the warranty and fix the problems. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing anything else that comes from SDS.
I have transferred (as FFL) and used (as individual) several of these1911’s. They are well made and function as intended. They also have a stainless steel model for about $100 more that is absolutely beautiful in appearance and function.
Awfully tempting bit of kit to set back.. The possibilities are endless with add-on parts, or just leave it as-is…
