We’re seeing a predictable pattern with CA’s leftists and their “progressive,” woke agenda.
They have carefully set the stage for this drama we’re currently witnessing. We’re seeing ecumenical systemic failure- and anarchy that inevitably follows.
To say that the fire disaster in CA resulted from “failed leadership” is naive. It is not “bad planning” nor “poor oversight.”
It’s an abject failure- by choice and intent!
Anarchy, squalor, and lawlessness are consistent goals of the left because they promote the totalitarian agenda advanced by Marxists everywhere.
That will never change!
At the individual level:
The naive among us, who roll their eyes when told they have to be personally responsible for their own protection, need to look at current events honestly.
The assumption that “officials” will be available, sufficiently competent, and inclined to respond to your emergency in time to prevent harm befalling you is injudicious, presumptuous, and indeed foolish- as we see.
Fate makes “an exception” for no one!
Neo-Marxists had a taste of victory during the BHO and JRB Administrations.
They will predictably be anxious to continue to manufacture all kinds of harmful, destructive mayhem in an effort to thwart/damage/discredit the incoming DJT Administration, just as they so viciously did during DJT’s first term.
We’re seeing it already!
Many non-political innocents will fall victim in their wake.
Thus, individual awareness, alertness, and preparedness will continue to be critical for maintaining good health and preserving health and home.
We can (and should) be optimistic, but we can never relax!

Obvious mismanagement at multiple levels. 50 mil to Trump proof while the fires are burning. Home Insurance pulled out. Voter I.D. disappearing and now void. I think a federal law on voter integrity should be drafted whereby those states who can’t verify their voters are disqualified from being counted for Presidential purposes. They can keep their Reps and Senate votes, but not for President. Guess which states that would affect? 🙂

Anarchy and totalitarianism are opposites. There is no anarchy in California. There are laws and a despotic regime which enforces them differently on different groups.
Solzhenitsyn talked about the phenomona of communists going easy on criminals because they believed the criminals were victims of oppression. Non criminals were treated much more viciously as they had no reason for their supposed ideological failings.
This is exactly what we see in California. It has nothing to do with anarchy, which is the absence of rules not the absence of tradition and law. In California we have communism and only communism.
The left hates those of us to center and to the right. When things go wrong for those whom are far left democrats. They are the first to put their hands out for our help. L.A. strongly suppresses individual anything. There, the “community” is King! Like the lesbian-lover “community” for example.
To bad I don’t think this will influence the majority of kommiefornias that are still going to vote blue.
