Frank Tait

I, Timothy Knight, am honored to endorse Frank Tait for the NRA Board of Directors. My experience as a former NRA Board Director, NRA whistleblower, and the founder of the Colorado Recall movement has taught me the importance of leadership that prioritizes the members and citizens over personal or organizational politics. Frank Tait embodies this ethos.

Frank Tait For NRA Board of Directors

Frank’s commitment to accountability is not just talk; it’s demonstrated through actions. His introduction of the “No Confidence” resolution against Wayne LaPierre at the 2019 Members’ Meeting was a pivotal moment, signaling his readiness to challenge the status quo for the betterment of the NRA. This act of courage is what the NRA needs to regain its integrity and focus on serving its members.

Frank has been steadfast in advocating for reforms like term limits, a smaller board, and increased transparency. His push for these changes shows a clear understanding that the NRA must evolve to meet the needs of its members transparently and efficiently. His election strategy, advocating for “bullet voting” to ensure the election of reform-minded candidates, reflects his strategic thinking aimed at real member empowerment.

Furthermore, Frank’s refusal to accept any compensation from the NRA for his board duties, his commitment to self-funding his campaign, and his pledge to always run by petition if necessary, are powerful statements of his dedication to serve without personal gain. These principles align perfectly with the grassroots approach I championed in the Colorado Recalls, emphasizing that the NRA should be an organization of the people, by the people, and for the people.

Frank’s NRA training counselor role and his proven ability to train new shooters are vital, showcasing his practical commitment to gun safety and education, thereby enhancing his credibility and effectiveness in leadership.

Frank Tait’s vision for the NRA includes not just internal reform but also a broader, collaborative approach with other Second Amendment advocates, breaking the “Not Invented Here” mentality to strengthen our collective stand. His leadership can guide the NRA back to its core mission, focusing on defending our rights rather than defending its own bureaucracy.

In endorsing Frank Tait, I am endorsing a future where the NRA is once again an organization that stands tall for its members, led by individuals like Frank who are not afraid to speak truth to power and bring about the necessary changes. His election to the board would be a big step towards restoring the NRA to its members.

Sincerely,

Timothy Knight

After more than half a century of the BS I don’t even want to see the letters NRA. If you can still stand it, good for you, come back with deeds not word.

The FUDDS are coming out of the woodwork. The NRA needs to gently fade into history like the dinosaur that they are.
