Armed Teens Shot, 1 Dead, in Harrowing Self-Defense Encounter Albuquerque, NM ~ VIDEO

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.  – In a dramatic and violent encounter late Wednesday night with up to seven teenagers, a 14-year-old boy was fatally shot during an attempted robbery that has shaken the Albuquerque community and reignited discussions about teen crime and self-defense rights.

The incident occurred at an apartment complex on Tramway Blvd, where Alfonso Sanderson and a group of seven other teenagers, including a 12-year-old, attempted to rob a couple seated in their Jeep. According to the Albuquerque Police Department (APD), Sanderson, armed and dangerous, approached the vehicle with a gun alongside another teen who also brandished a firearm.

The situation escalated rapidly when the teens opened fire, injuring the woman in the passenger seat. In a swift reaction characterized by law enforcement as self-defense, the woman’s husband returned fire, striking Sanderson, who later succumbed to his injuries.

This incident is now under investigation as a justifiable homicide.

The remaining teens involved fled the scene, later seeking medical attention for their injuries and ultimately facing a slew of serious charges, including armed robbery and aggravated battery. The involvement of multiple attackers highlights the need for maximum firearms magazine capacity to defend against two or, in this case, seven criminals.

As this story develops, the community is left grappling with the terminal results of such young individuals committing acts of serious violence. It prompts a broader discussion on the necessity and implications of the right to self-defense, especially when under direct threat. This event underscores a critical need for intervention and education to prevent youth involvement in violent crimes, ensuring both the safety of our communities and the futures of our young people.

parrents should be facing time with the criminal rodents they created

This isn’t an education issue as much as it is a parenting problem. Where are the parents? We know they will eventually surface, claiming these are good kids, didn’t deserve this, shoot them in the leg, blah, blah, blah. Play stupid games – win stupid prizes.

Every single one of these should be tried as adults and automatically given the maximum sentence. Charge them with conspiracy and put them away for a long long time.

grappling with the terminal results”
“prompts a broader discussion”

Should be prompting a broader discussion of “what were these teens & tweens doing out-and-about when they should’a been home?”
Should be grappling with the terminal results of “where have the parents been during all this?”

Bump, bump, bump another one bites the dust!

Albucraque has been bad for years, but with the last regime’s open border policies it has become a worse war zone- the wannabe hitler in santa fe & her cronies are to blame for this as well. close the border & go after the criminals !!!!

CaptainR

The community should be grappling with the atrocious behavior of these thugs rather than “grappling with the terminal results of such young individuals committing acts of serious violence”.
