Dust off your .22 and join us July 19 and 20 as we host the 2025 National Rimfire Sporter Rifle event, part of the annual National Matches at Camp Perry in Port Clinton, Ohio!
For the first time, the match will be fired completely on eTargets, located on Camp Perry’s Petrarca Range! Besides enjoying the conveniences of using electronic targets, like shorter match duration and instant shot results, competitors will be able to enjoy close parking and a firing line completely shielded from the elements!
The Rimfire Sporter Rifle Match is a .22 caliber competition in open sights (O-Class), telescopic (T-Class) and tactical/unlimited (TU) classes. The event is perfect for those just beginning in the sport or those looking for a unique challenge on the range.
As a bonus, new and experienced competitors should consider signing up for the Rimfire Sporter Rifle Clinic, featuring both classroom and live-fire training!
Also New for 2025: The National Rimfire Sporter Rifle Match will include an “M-class” to give competitors the option to use U.S. military rimfire training rifles during competition.
And, if you’re hungry, we’ll have a lineup of food trucks on base – located directly in the Petrarca Range parking lot for your convenience.
Also, just steps away is our Air Gun Range – the Gary Anderson CMP Competition Center. We invite you to participate in the National Match Air Gun Events while you are at Camp Perry. The range will be open from 2–8 PM on July 19 and 2–6 PM on July 20. Rental equipment and pellets are available on-site. Come cool off, try your hand at air gun shooting, and explore the Marksmanship Simulator, featuring a variety of realistic target scenarios!

WHAT IS THE CIVILIAN MARKSMANSHIP PROGRAM?

S. citizens in responsible uses of firearms and airguns through gun safety training, marksmanship training and competitions.
