Each new model builds on the proven performance of the 10/22, enhancing a platform celebrated for its rugged reliability, adaptability and iconic status in the rimfire world.
With this expansion, the upgraded features previously available only in select versions are now offered in a broader range of configurations. All new models include a BX-Trigger®, a match bolt release and – for non-takedown models – a receiver with an integrated rear cleaning port for simplified maintenance.
These new models offer versatility to match a wide range of shooter preferences to fit almost any need. Consumers can choose from threaded or non-threaded barrels of various lengths, takedown or traditional models and stock options ranging from Magpul® and Hogue® to Ruger polymer, modular and wood.

The Ruger 10-22 is among the most iconic symbols of America. When approval from the parents is forthcoming, I give 10-22s as graduation gifts. The gifts include introductory training or reinforcement of good habits previously acquired, enough ammo and supervised time on my range to ensure proficiency and consistent safety behaviors. For youngsters not ready for a 10-22 (or in deference to their parents who aren’t) , I give a Daisy Red Ryder BB gun and the rest of the aforementioned package.
The Ruger 10/22 is a great rifle.
How about a folding stock model?
Would like to see the Ruger 10/22 be made in 25 Stevens rimfire.
A 65 grain bullet at 1250 fos, good for turkeys, coyotes, prairie dogs.
Also, Ruger and Heritage should make their single action revolvers in 25 Stevens.
Already have this classic.
But would probably buy another one IF it was offered in 22 WMR again.
They were few, but they made them before.
