…it doesn’t seem like Senator Murphy will be able to lay down his gun control torch long enough to pitch the “big tent” party essential for his and his party’s political survival, that he himself declared was needed.
If Sen. Murphy were to get his way, Second Amendment rights would become a right in name only. It would “only” be for the elite few who could afford the punitive tax.
Don’t be fooled – these gun control legislators are trying to act as if they’re pushing gun safety; but really, they’re trying to limit the Constitutional rights of Americans and their ability to purchase guns..
Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), who posted to X, “A hidden provision of the bill…wait for it…legalizes gun silencers!! What?? So now criminals will be able to hide their crimes and police will lose the ability to respond to mass shootings. WTF.”
Senator Murphy’s claim that removing the NFA suppressor tax would somehow arm mass shooters is not only wrong—it’s dangerously misleading.
