State Police, ATF Make Arrest In Franklin County Gun Store Burglary
1 Adult And 1 Juvenile Still Sought
PHILADELPHIA — Mark W. Potter, Special Agent in Charge of the Philadelphia Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), announces the arrest of two men in the January 6 theft of 19 firearms from Keystone Country Store, Fort Loudon, Franklin County, Pa. Loren Stains, 18, and Jeremy Davis, 18, both of McConnellsburg, Fulton County, Pa., were arrested at 3:00 p.m. on E. Market Street, McConnellsburg, without incident. Nine firearms were recovered at the time of arrest.
Investigators are still looking for Ryan Lynn Horton, 19, of McConnellsburg and a juvenile that are both believed involved in the theft. There is a $5000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Horton. Anyone with information should contact ATF at 1-800-ATF-GUNS (800-283- 4867) or the local Pennsylvania State Police Barracks; all calls will be kept confidential.
The ATF / Pennsylvania State Police Firearms Trafficking Task Force has now made arrests in all four thefts from regional licensed gun dealers that have occurred since July 2008. There have been over 120 firearms stolen from dealers in Franklin, Lebanon, Perry and York Counties.
