NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)- Last Friday the National Shooting Sports Foundation and the Gun Owners' Action League held the Fifth Annual Firearms Safety and Education Day for Legislators at the North Leominster Rod and Gun Club in Lunenburg, Mass.
Legislators, their families and staffs were invited to a day at the range. An all-time-high number of attendees for the event from around New England, both experienced and first-timers, enjoyed the opportunity to try their hand at various shooting disciplines.
You, too, should make a point of fostering a relationship with your local legislators.
For example, invite them to your business to see your operation, which will provide not only a great chance to get to know each other but also the stage for you to make your case for the economic impact of your business and your industry.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation is the trade association for the firearms industry. Its mission is to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports. Formed in 1961, NSSF has a membership of more than 6,000 manufacturers, distributors, firearms retailers, shooting ranges, sportsmen's organizations and publishers.
