Charlotte, NC –-(Ammoland.com)- As part of former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’ gun control-promotion tour, a cross-section of anti-gun activists, politicians, Obama administration representatives, and others of like mind gathered in Oregon recently to scheme “what we can do in the legislature next year.”
Topics discussed included “universal” background checks, gun registration, and a plan to sell “universal” checks with fake gun sportsmen in flannel shirts, in the style of John Kerry.
Attending the event were Giffords and Hayley Zachary, of Americans for Responsible Solutions; Analisa Davis, of Moms Demand Action; Jenna Yuille, of Gun Owners for Responsible Ownership; Colen Domenech, of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; Amanda Marshall, of the U.S. Department of Justice; Erin Greenwald, of the Oregon Department of Justice; Elleanor Chin, of the Blue Oregon “progressive” activist group; and several others.
The participants’ comments are more illuminating than any summary we could provide. As if you needed additional reason to vote on Tuesday, you can see the highlights of the anti-gun get-together by clicking on the following links:
