Easton, MD – -(Ammoland.com)- Wildlife Art Show – Downtown!

The nation’s best wildlife painters, sculptors, carvers and photographers are exhibiting in FIVE galleries in Downtown Easton: Art at the Armory, Art at the Avalon, Art at the Pavilion, Photography Gallery at Christ Church, and the Chesapeake Carving Gallery at the Academy Art Museum.

NEW LOCATIONS!

  • Photography Gallery Moves to Downtown! : The Photography Gallery has relocated to downtown Easton and can now be found at Christ Church on Harrison Street near the other art galleries.
  • Birds of Prey Demonstrations at Easton High School! : Master falconer, Brian Bradley, and his birds of prey have moved to Easton High School. Demonstrations will take place at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Friday – Sunday.
  • NEW Artisans Gifts & Gallery Exhibit! : The former Artists Gallery & Workshop and Wildlife Marketplace exhibits have merged to create the NEW Artisans Gifts & Gallery Exhibit at Easton Middle School. Find painters, carvers, artisans, fine crafts and more! This is a great spot to kick off your holiday shopping!
  • Children’s Art Activities Move to Easton Middle School! : Art Activities with the Ward Museum and Ed Itter’s Saturday Morning Decoy Painting Class move to Easton Middle School!

Taste the Chesapeake! – Downtown & Easton Elks Lodge

The Festival features the Beer, Wine & Tasting Pavilion Downtown and the Craft Brew Pub at the Easton Elks Lodge! Enjoy traditional Eastern Shore fare paired with local and regional craft beers and wine! Official Festival food vendors also offer favorites including crab soup, soft crabs, oysters, and MORE!

Eastern Shore Sporting & Hunting Traditions – Easton High School & Easton Elks Lodge
Don’t miss the Buy Sell Swap Exhibit featuring decoys, Americana folk art and hunting memorabilia and the Waterfowling Artifacts Exhibit, a mini-museum tracing the evolution of waterfowling from an economic necessity to the sport of today, both at Easton High School.

The Sportsmans Pavilion at the Easton Elks Lodge is the perfect spot for sporting and outdoor enthusiasts! Find outfitters, guide services, gear, gadgets and MORE!

World Championship Goose & Duck Calling Contests! The best callers travel to Easton from all over the country to compete in these “Super Bowl” Contests by using a goose or duck call to mimic the sounds of waterfowl in the wild. The 2015 contests also feature the World Championship Goose Calling Contest Champion of Champions Competition where past year’s champions compete on the same stage for the ultimate Goose Calling title! The Final Competitions are on Saturday, November 14th at 4:00 p.m. At Easton High School!

Outdoor Activities
The Dock Dogs are at Easton Middle School, the Retriever and Fly Fishing Demonstrations are at the Bay Street Ponds and the Birds of Prey Demonstrations are at Easton High School!

Fun for the whole family can be found at every Festival location! Don’t miss the Dock Dogs and Kids’ Art Activities at Easton Middle School, the Kids’ Fishing Derby at the Bay Street Ponds on Saturday and Sunday, The Phillip’s Wharf Fishmobile at Easton High School on Saturday and Sunday and Carlos the Juggler downtown on Sunday!
