USA – -(Ammoland.com)- Did you pay close attention to the first presidential debate the other night?
Millions of Americans did, and I’m pretty sure that those of us who support gun rights were paying closer attention than most regular Joe’s.
The question is, just how close were you following? Trump missed some great opportunities, not only when it came to shredding Clinton about cyber security and her emails but also when she turned the conversation to “gun safety.”
It was during her talking points on gun control when I picked up on one sentence, one single word in particular that I have not heard anyone else mention since the debate. As we all know, words mean things when we’re talking about a politician, especially one as well scripted as Hillary Clinton. Here’s the phrase I’m referencing, “and we need to keep guns out of the hands of those who will do harm.” She said this in the context of discussing “comprehensive background checks.”
What exactly, did Hillary Clinton mean when she said, “will do harm?”
On the surface, and to the “Headline Surfers” as I refer to them, that probably went in one ear and right out the other. I would venture to say it did the same to the vast majority of pro-gun rights supporters.
Saying “will do harm” implies that Hillary Clinton has found a way or at least believes there is a way to foretell the future. Has she a crystal ball?
Unless Hillary Clinton and the rest of America’s gun-grabbers have invented a psychic, mind-reading gadget of some sort, it is flat out impossible to predict a person’s future behavior. Mrs. Clinton is a lot of things, but mind reader and extra sensory perception scholar extraordinaire are not among them. Based on the fact that she and the rest of the Socialist party can’t seem to grasp why she isn’t “up by 51% by now,” I can safely say that she does not possess a sixth-sense. The fact is, there is no way for anyone, including Ms. Clinton to predict future criminal activity. We are all powerless to determine who will commit a crime in the future.
Being that her statement was in the context of discussing “comprehensive background checks” with no mention of creating a “future check” system, we can, therefore, derive certain things from her use of the words “will do harm.” Clinton is well aware that “background checks” look backward, not forward. Much like credit reports are used to determine future credit risk, glancing in the rear-view mirror is currently the only option we have to predict future behavior. That, in and of itself, is weak at best when it comes to determining potential criminal activity from someone who has not yet committed a crime.
AWR Hawkins from Breitbart News repeatedly points out that virtually all mass killers have passed “background checks.” So why then, did she say it?
I have a theory. I believe her use of the words “will do harm” was intentional. Therefore when she said it, she was talking about you and every other law abiding gun owner.
How do I come to that conclusion? Hillary Clinton, like the rest of the un-American gun-grabber bunch, believes all guns and all gun owners are dangerous as evidenced by their desire to punish all law-abiding citizens with draconian, ineffective gun control laws despite the fact these laws are completely useless. Because Hillary Clinton can not predict the future, knows background checks do not work, believes in confiscatory laws, (see video below) and seeks legislation that punishes law-abiding people, it is the only logical conclusion I can draw.
We’ve just been given a glimpse into the future push for confiscation. Hillary Clinton will eventually publicly determine that “comprehensive background checks” are not working and will begin pushing the narrative that all gun owners are potential criminals and we “must do something.”
Words mean things. It’s your responsibility to pay attention.

Look who is calling the kettle black she is a criminal herself with all the things in her past that other people with out money and political influence would have been in prison for.
I believe we need better background checks with the purchase of any weapon from a gun dealer. But that program is no better than the department & programs who are required to put individual names on that list. It is the responsibility of the FBI, Home Security & other Criminal departments, doctors & other mental programs to put individuals they have doubts about or feel are unstable on that list and leave them there. It is not the fault of the FFL Gun Dealer when they have only the background checks to go by. The government needs a better system.
She meant law abiding gun owners, did you even have to ask?
I think I may have the answer to the question, “What does she mean “by do harm?” She means that Republicans, Libertarians, Conservatives, anyone who has read the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution [including the Bill of Rights] recently might do harm to her desire to create a country where she can run the Nation The Chicago/Arkansas way.
