USA -(Ammoland.com)- Oak Park has formed a new Gun Control cabal disguised as yet another “Gun Safety” group, they call themselves Gun Responsibility Advocates.
Make no mistake, the only aim of this group is to disarm law abiding gun owners as a feel good, knee-jerk response to the rapidly rising problem of violent crime in and around Oak Park.
Real solutions to crime and poverty of Oak Park and its neighbors will not be addressed, as this group has a found a strawman upon which to pin all of their troubles: YOU the law-abiding gun owner.
To divert attention away from Oak Park’s real problems, this group will be presenting a slanderous, below-the-belt video attack on the NRA and its members called “Making a Killing: Guns, Greed, and the NRA”.
This film is part of a multi-pronged effort to heap blame and scorn on the NRA and its members. As the nation’s oldest gun rights group, the NRA is an easy target for the hate speech from the angry intolerant new left, and this video does not disappoint in that area.
As NRA and ISRA members, this is your chance to confront these intolerant enemies of freedom on their own turf.
How you can stand up for the Second Amendment and the NRA:
1. Attend the free showing of this film. The presentation starts at 7pm in the Veterans Room at the Oak Park Public Library, 834 Lake Street, Oak Park
2. Ensure you have a seat by arriving early. The Oak Park Public Library has a parking garage, and the group in question has reserved the Veterans Room from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The rental agreement for the room ensures that events are free and open to the public, you cannot be turned away as long as there is space.
3. Be prepared to stand up as a gun owner, NRA member and a law-abiding citizen and defend the NRA and its members from those that would spread lies and use hate speech to the NRA and legal gun ownership.
4. If you see members of the press, be sure to engage and inform them as well. Be clear, concise, and quotable.
5. Be sure to forward this notice to your friends and family and any on-line forums that you belong to.

That sounds really scary. The depravity of people who would host a film screening at a public library. Wow. What a bunch of lunatic radicals. How dare they discuss a relevant topic like guns without the permission of the NRA and ISRA. Let’s be reasonable. This is just like Berkeley all over again except now we all know that Milo was a pedophile.
The NRA is not just the oldest gun rights organization, it is the oldest CIVIL RIGHTS organization in the country. Why dont veterans in this area protest the use of their room by these people. Shame them and embarrass them.
The Veterans room, really? I live in Maryland so obviously will not be attending but I hope locals in and around the area do. This is a great opportunity to fight back. These people have went too far with this crap and I for one am sick of it. If ever there are any of these events near me please pass it along. I will be there.
