USA -(Ammoland.com)- Earlier today, The Calguns Foundation and other civil rights groups filed a lawsuit to overturn California’s magazine ban, recently enacted with the passage of Proposition 63 and SB 1446, which was signed by Governor Brown in July 2016.

Captioned Wiese v. Becerra, the lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, Fresno Division.

This blatantly unconstitutional attack on law abiding Californians must not go unchallenged. It is because of you and your steadfast support, and in conjunction with like-minded organizations, that we have been able continue to carry the torch of liberty to the courts on this and other issues.

As you know, these cases are difficult, time consuming and expensive. We are going to need everyone on board this time as the law takes effect on July 1 of this year and we endeavor to prevent that from happening.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation in support of this very important legal work.

‘good to hear the fight is on but the self-serving anti-gun juggernaut in CA just keeps gaining momentum with dozens of politicians trying to their mark by proposing more and more ridiculous legislation. Wonder what they will focus on after the guns are gone?

Sadly, the CalTards in power have the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals that will rubber stamp any legislation that they can imagine. The youngest judge on that court is 63, and they all live in San Francisco, with armed security guards.

Bill, I don’t mean to speak in a “schadenfreude” manner but your post was hilariously funny! I think we are “contrast gainers.” When we go somewhere or live somewhere or are confronted by something so opposite ourselves we can see how automatically we gain just by getting away from it. I know how it is because I live in a Spineless State while continuing to fight for my rights. It’s exhausting.

Yes, they do have good people out there at least trying to fight back, and good on them. Here in Maryland the people are too self-absorbed, self-centered and arrogant to band together and fight back. They just bend over and take it while holding the vasaline jar between their knees for the next guy with a law. No, Im not from here and am leaving as soon as is possible. We had to move here from WV about 4 years ago because of work. Lord help me, I cant wait to get out of here and back to a state… Read more »

Great work. You should see the magazines on the pathetic New York State Governor Cuomo (and the two crook heads of the NYS Senate and Assembly who are now in jail) “SAFE ACT” compliant AR-15 Rifles. The 3-men-in-a-room (two now in jail) who ran New York really “butchered” the rifle. You have good gun organizations out there.
