ATLANTA, Ga. -(Ammoland.com)- Media Lodge, which combines original content with owned media properties and top industry bloggers to form an exclusive digital platform reaching over 17 million passionate outdoor enthusiasts each month, announced today the hiring of industry veteran Sammy Reese to the newly created position of Editor.

Sammy will work with writers, video producers, photographers and advertisers to provide an authentic editorial direction for Media Lodge’s owned digital properties, video productions and 1m+ social followers.

He will also closely monitor industry trends and work closely with customers to create compelling content.

Additionally, Sammy will coordinate with Media Lodge’s widespread, exclusive blogger network to syndicate Media Lodge original articles and video productions.

Sammy is familiar to many in the outdoor industry. He has deep relationships from previous roles publishing special edition magazines, launching new titles and managing key industry events.

Sammy holds a B.S. in Communications from Northeastern University. Prior to joining Media Lodge, Sammy was an instructor for SECFOR International. He is a retired Police Officer & Senior SWAT Sniper for the Escondido Police Department and a former Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Hummm, Out of business Harris Publications people (who own Media Lodge) “obtain” a special edition magazine editor from FMG Publications. Now that will be fun.
