I can buy 124 grain 9mm Federal Premium HST’s for $23.95 per box of 50. I could just start practicing with a bunch of those as well use them for self-defense and “save money” over the “Train & Protect”. And Federal would still be earning my money on one of their premium products. I really like the Train & Defend idea, shoot less costly rounds to practice, practice, practice. Then save the high dollar rounds for real world personal defense. Excellent idea. I just wonder why these ammo companies don’t also offer Train & Hunt? I am like many hunters, I check my rifles sight/scope each year before hunting season. I also like to practice shooting the ammo I will use, thru the rifle I will use. Most quality deer hunting ammo is $1/round or more.
