I’ve always wanted an AR in .358 Win. What a hog gun that would be! Also authoritative on big deer and black bear. Guess I’ll have to stick with my DPMS GII Recon in .308 because there’s no way to justify spending that kind of money for a Wilson Combat rifle in my world. Can’t somebody at least make a .358 Win upper, if not a complete rifle, at a reasonable price?

Looks great but $3000???? Thanks NO thanks

And I thought my SIG 716 FDE was pricy(paid $2149.00)! I am wanting a longer barreled hunting AR in .308 WIN but at over $3000+ I guess I’m going to have to continue to use that SIG 716 or my Ruger SR762. I’ve never taken any elk at over 115 yards so I’ll let my dreams rest quietly for now. They sure do look sweet.

Not for your average shooter at that price.

I really don’t see the over $3,000.00 price. You are paying $2,000.00 more for the Wilson name and what ? Like buying a Colt anymore. Been there, done that…. You get wisdom with age.

There’s no getting around it that the AR platform is as versatile as it gets. That said, at more than $3,000 for each of these I believe they’re going into a niche market. Whether or not that market is populated by enough to support the company remains to be seen.
