Hypocrites in the media!
A recent photograph of our SECNAV visiting troops in Afghanistan reveals him openly carrying a pistol in a SERPA holster.
This photo brought-on immediate censure from (who else?) CNN correspondent, Barbara Starr.
She twits: “Can someone explain why the head of our Navy is wearing a sidearm?”
Last I heard, Afghanistan is an area of active fighting. Anyone there, with at least two brain-cells to rub together, goes armed. But, gun-hating leftists at CNN, safe, secure (and protected by security guards, wearing sidearms) within their Corporate office, obviously don’t care.
Of course, CNN executives quietly employ a veritable army of armed security guards to protect them (about which they never talk), but they are “far too pure” to ever touch a gun themselves!

And, anyone who does touch a gun can never be quite as “pure” as they are, which is one of the ways in which they smugly espouse their “moral superiority” over us mere mortals.
These sheltered, self-righteous, amoral, leftist propagandists, masquerading as “journalists,” made me sick, and they ought to make all Americans sick!

She’d rather have him defenseless & killed in an attack than offend her delicate sensibilities by wearing a sidearm. The media is so smug, self-righteous, & believe themselves to be infallible. Here’s hoping she finds herself in the aforementioned predicament.
If she has a security detail they should be issued sling shots and a bag of marbles.
when i did my two tours in Vietnam as a Combat Marine at times there was some so called Journalist sniffing around and like i told one one time, i don’t go take a crap without having my Rifle with me, should a saw the look on the IDIOTS FACE LOL.

If you scroll through her comments, she brings it up again about him wearing a gun when the Afghans he met with didn’t. Well, don’t think that they don’t have some concealed here and there.
This “reporter” is an idiot to the extreme, and is so brainwashed that she can’t see straight. A measley handgun in a war theater is nothing. But in her world, it represents evil.
And I hope the reporter never gets armed,and guess what will happen to him.
