Colorado – -(AmmoLand.com)- We’ve held six rallies around Colorado to date, and people have been asking us to host one in Colorado Springs – so we’re making it happen! Working with some local organizers in the area, we’re excited to bring you “Rally for our Rights – Colorado Springs: A demonstration in support of the right to keep and bear arms!”
Saturday, September 1st – 1 to 4 pm – WASSON PARK in Colorado Springs, CO. If you need an address for GPS reasons, use 2798 Constitution Ave, Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is the address of the park and we will be meeting on the Wasson Park corner of Constitution Ave and N Circle Dr.
During the event, we will be collecting money to donate to Angels of America’s Fallen. They are a non-profit that provides services and mentoring to children of fallen soldiers and first responders. Please give any donations to Lesley, Patrick or Austin so we can ensure it gets to the correct place.
This will be a non-permitted event exercising our First Amendment right to protest on public sidewalks. There will be no speakers or set agenda. We will be lining the streets around the intersection of Constitution Avenue and N Circle Drive carrying signs, banners, and flags supporting our right to keep and bear arms.
Please do bring:
- Signs, lots of signs! Focus on the Second Amendment and how many gun control laws turn law-abiding citizens into criminals.
- American, historical, and patriotic flags
- Banners and signs supporting gun rights and the 2nd Amendment.
Please do not bring:
- Confederate, Anarchy, Trump [nothing against the president, just working towards a neutral theme], or other political propaganda flags
- Off topic signs or banners, or anything advocating or attacking a particular political party or ideology beyond the Second Amendment
This is a single focus/issue event with participants from various political parties and with differing ideological beliefs. Please be respectful and courteous of your fellow Second Amendment supporters.
This is not an open carry protest, but you can open carry if you’d like. Open carry is legal in Colorado Springs! Firearms must be holstered or slung and should be secured; and if concealed, properly permitted.
Feel free to share this invitation with your friends, family, and other interested parties. It’s time to fight back and make our voices heard. We hope to see you there!

We’re now accepting financial contributions! You can help keep Rally for our Rights going and growing! We’re only getting started and we’re not about to stop. Your support is greatly appreciated. Recurring donations can also be set up. Donate at rallyforourrights.com/donate.
We’ve had lots of other great stuff happening! We had a booth at the Boulder County Fair where we received a great response and connected with many new community members. Thanks to all our awesome volunteers who helped keep it fully staffed for three days straight!
Through the state Adopt-A-Highway program, Rally for our Rights has officially adopted a stretch of highway along Hwy 66 between Longmont and Lyons. Our first clean up day was a great success with over 30 people coming out to help clean up our environment. We’ll have a road sign up within three months, and our next clean up will be in October or November. Watch a great video of us on the cleanup trail here:
We’ve also been at every Denver Tanner Gun Show and the Denver Guns Day, and you’ll find us at the Firearms Festival on September 15th connecting with the firearms community and letting them know what we’re all about.
