We hit the issues on your mind in this great America’s Voice News interview with anchors Amanda Head and Kyle Olson. Each of us dropped a little snark into the discussion.
Working with so many great people is the best part of what I get to do. Wearing many hats means being open to discuss issues across the spectrum. This television hit was scheduled to discuss murders in Gun Free Zones. Instead, whew, we went everywhere else. In a nine-minute lightning-round segment we hit bump stocks, slippery slope, Pelosi’s attacks, magic number 60, “stupid” liberals, law enforcement, “idiot” Dems, US Senate, sports shooting, CPAC 2019, Trump and sons, NRA membership, and a lot more. Learned this lesson: watch me dodge the sun rays coming through the window blinds late in the interview.

In the last few years a lot of people have taken membership in the NRA because they do not want their freedoms taken away. The problem is that the NRA is gloating over all these new memberships and think they can sell us down the river because they have become a political entity rather than a gun support organization. Maybe they will wise up when those new memberships see the writing on the wall and decide not to renew. They haven’t done anything for me other than send me a magazine every month.
“Bump stocks don’t really matter”….??? I have news for you – they matter to those of us that paid good money for them, as well as a vast majority of the gun-owning public. Mr Lee, you say we need to grow membership. That isn’t going to happen until the NRA comes out HARD AGAINST any proposed gun control. It is my understanding that the NRA recommended to the Trump administration that the ATF relook the law in regards to bump stocks. This is NOT supporting your members. Want my vote? Easy, answer this one question, right here, right now: Do you believe that all firearms laws should be repealed and will you work to that end?
If your answer is yes then you truly do believe in the Second Amendment and you have my vote. By the way, a non-response will be taken as a negative.
PS: This is the same question every single person will get who stumps for votes on Ammoland or any other forum.
