Replica airguns are a specialty of Umarex- and the Legends M712 just might be the paragon of all firearm lookalikes. There were several variations of this pistol (commonly called the “Broomhandle Mauser” because the grip looks like a broom handle)- and this is a copy of the Schnellfeuer (German for fast or rapid fire) version of the pistol- which was produced from 1932 to 1936.

Pick up this amazing firearm lookalike- and you’ll be hard-pressed to admit it’s a BB gun! The heft- the feel- the metal- the action — it’s everything wanted a BB gun to be. Nothing stopping you from buying it. Not even the price. A real bargain!

  • Legends M712 Pistol Features
  • Uses a 12-gram CO2 cartridge
  • Full-/semi-auto
  • Blowback*
  • 18rd removable BB magazine
  • Manual safety
  • Fixed front sight
  • Elevation-adjustable rear sight
  • Plastic grips
  • Single-action
  • Full metal

*The blowback on the M712 CO2 pistol functions the same as it does on the firearm. There’s no slide. The only thing that moves is the bolt. The purpose of the bolt’s movement is to cock the hammer (because this is a single-action pistol).

Congratulations to the genius at AmmoLand who had an ad for a BB gun with a discount code “code ends 12/9” so he decided to email it out to all AmmoLand subscribers but waited until 12/10 before sending it out.

Found aa coupon code that did work for 10% off. Better than nothing.

Day late and $20 short. Code rejected by air gun depot. Cancelled my order with accessories because the code didn’t work. I like the articles and reviews, but don’t sucker people in to something invalid. Maybe you need an editor who pays attention to the details. Second time in recent months I’ve pursued an item based on your articles and been thwarted.

Anybody see this as the starting point for a Han Solo Blaster? Really. It looks like a Mauser C96.
I get the email today and the code ended YESTERDAY.
