I buy ammo online from Sportsman’s Warehouse occasionally, but I would prefer to purchase and pick up at a local store. I thought they were a relatively small outfit, but I see that they have 101 stores. I guess I thought that because the nearest store to me is 482 miles away. While they are busy opening ANOTHER store in Communist Kalifornia they might give some consideration to a store in Central Texas. Just a thought.

This has nothing to do with the article, sorry, but does not fit anywhere, so… I see by my American Rifleman magazine that it is time again to pick the NRA non-nominating committee candidates to vote for. Mr John L. Cushman was nominated by member petition, and Mr. Frank C. Tait was nominated by member petition.
Have I missed any other non-nominating committee candidates?

Wild Bill

Well, if there are no other nominated by member petition candidates, then I will just confine my vote to those two.

Libs, in SoCal, will love a new target for protest.

Exactly, we don’t they open up more stores in states that would welcome them.

They are already here. Sportsman’s is one of my “go to” local shops.

Exactly PA would be great. Better if it’s near the PA/MD line. They may get business from many states. Cabelas is the only store besides the small local gun shops to use that I’m not boycotting. It’s actually a pretty good drive. It always nice to visit somewhere new. I bet a lot of bullet diggers would be interested besides the hunters. Gettysburg PA comes to mind. lol

In Maine besides some (PR)icks peppered around the state all we have is 1 Cabela’s/Bass Pro in Scarborough and the Kittery Trading Post. 2 or 3 hour drive if I’m to get to them but that hasn’t stopped me from filling out 4473’s at my local and favorite LGS. Just did one last week. 🙂

@fb4, Well … they have nothing else to do, but walk around the homeless, as there are no jobs.

I’m surprised that Sportsman’s Warehouse is opening shop in California, unlike Dicks Tennis Ball Emporium they sell Guns and on occasion even the black scary ones.

One of the best places to buy if it can be shipped into your state/s is
sgammo.com
aimsurplus.com
ammoman.com
Great folks and good prices no freight gouging.(esp sgammo)

I bet that will set with a lot of Californians like a KKK headquarters in Ferguson.

StLPro2A

We already have KKK Headquarters in Ferguson and St. Louis. Only they have been renamed for PC purposes as Democratic Headquarters. And, they just keep voting Democrat so they can stay on the Government Plantation. Old Forrest Gump was right….”Stupid is as stupid does.”

Torn

They were here in my city, and then folded and moved on. I suppose due to competition, Gander Mountain has now folded and moved on. You can come back now S.W.
