New Mexico – -(Ammoland.com)- Rebecca Dow has dedicated her life to serving New Mexico and our way of life, including protecting our Second Amendment rights.
As a Representative in the New Mexico House since 2017, Rebecca passionately defended New Mexico jobs, fought to defeat overregulation of industries like mining that provide so much of the state’s income, and successfully challenged powerful opponents of our basic, inalienable rights, like the Right to Life and our Second Amendment rights.
Rebecca recognizes that the Second Amendment is not only a right afforded to us under the Constitution, but it is also a way of life for many New Mexicans who grew up hunting and legally owning a firearm to protect their family.
But the Governor and progressive leaders only care about their own Santa Fe agenda and pushed sweeping and ultra-restrictive gun legislation including red flag laws through the Roundhouse.
Sheriffs across the state spoke up against these new laws, calling them unenforceable and unconstitutional. Rebecca stood arm-in-arm with them to fight back as they led almost every county in the state to declare themselves a “Second Amendment Sanctuary.”
In 2020, Rebecca took action to take back the values that are ingrained in New Mexico’s “Western Way of Life” by recruiting Sheriffs to join her coalition dubbed the “Save Our Western Way of Life” PAC. This group is comprised of law enforcement, ag producers, outfitters and guides, and hard-working New Mexicans working together to elect, pro-liberty candidates for office. Rebecca will work to roll back the radical gun laws that undermine the Constitution and she will remain strong in supporting law enforcement to work towards a safer New Mexico.
Rebecca has a lifetime A+ rating from NRA and her family are members of the NRA and the New Mexico Shooting Sports Association.

The second amendment is NOT a right afforded to us under the Constitution. Afforded means: to make available, give forth, or provide naturally or inevitably. The Constitution does NOT afford or provide rights! It recognizes pre-existing rights and identifies them for the purpose of prohibiting the federal government from effing around with them! As for the rating awarded by the NrA? ‘Could care less till they fire the entire executive staff and issue a formal apology for negotiating away our rights on the NFA and every gun control bill passed by congress.

Americans either wake up the corrupt system & refuse to comply with a political ponerology system or the beatings continue until the people submit or revolt. Agreed, but I bet most people have no idea about the criminality of LaPierre, they know what the NRA used to stand for and they certainly know what a member of BradyUnited stands for. I for one, hope like Hell the NRA can recover from the bastardization of the organization by the LaPierre Cartel. The last NM governor was a woman, the current NM governor is rumored to be a woman and now another woman wants the office? I realize that the overwhelming population of alleged males in Santa Fe could go either way when it comes to assigning their sex, but I do know that outside of Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Las Cruces, there are actually males in NM that would meet the actual basic definition of a MAN.
