U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee passed House Bill 1358 as a committee substitute with language from Senate Bill 319. Then, the House Judiciary Committee passed Senate Bill 319 as a committee substitute with language from House Bill 1358. They will now go to the chamber floors for further consideration.

Constitutional carry allows a law-abiding adult who is legally allowed to carry a concealed firearm, to do so without first having to obtain government permission. This ensures that citizens have the right to self-defense without government red tape or delays. Additionally, this legislation maintains the existing concealed handgun license system, so citizens who still wish to obtain a permit may do so.

Currently, there are 24 states that already have constitutional carry. Of those, Alabama, Ohio, and Indiana joined that list just this year. Governor Brian Kemp has stated his support for constitutional carry, so the General Assembly just has to send a bill to his desk.

If Mr Kemp wants to be reelected he had better make sure this goes all the way across the finish line. Democrats in Georgia grow more corrupt every day while Rino Georgia Republicans are no better and can never be trusted. The Georgia Senate on Thursday approved legislation that would prohibit companies owned by the Chinese government to bid on state contracts.Senate Bill 346 passed 32-20 on a nearly party-line vote, with Atlanta state Sen. Jen Jordan being the only Democrat to support the measure. “Americans in the Peach State are impacted by the concern of the technology theft that goes… Read more »

Now you’re sucking up to Gov. Kemp, who helped Dems steal the White House & both of Georgia’s US Senate seats. You’re a real piece of work. BTW, genius, it’s their Gov, not there Gov.

No, that’s not how rights work. Why am I not surprised the NRA doesn’t understand this? The constitution doesn’t “allow” me to do anything. I already have that right.

Would seem that this guy Sen Tom Lee has some explaining to do Politicians can never be trusted There is more than one stray dog in the republican party.

The Senate panel led by Sen. Tom Lee, a longtime Republican lawmaker from the Tampa area, defied Hammer and moved the bill forward with a favorable recommendation“We have children killing children,” Lee said. “The Legislature has to act. We have to do something to continue to try to move the ball forward on some common-sense gun safety in this state.”
