It certainly is impressive. And collectors should love it. But tactical shotguns are more practical and affordable.
I bought a Taurus Judge back in 2006-2007. I still have it stuffed into my safe, a novelty item, IMHO, a super fun one. It doesn’t accept 3” shells, 2 3/4 or 45 Colt. This thing looks like a fun gun too. I believe it would fit perfectly in my nightstand scabbard without much modification. Given what we see with the local “Kia Boyz” and other similar home invader thugs, is 5 rounds enough for a proper home defense gun? I doubt I would use it as a truck gun or a gun I would keep behind the counter of… Read more »
Wow that could be somebody’s EDC, but who makes an appendix holster for it?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but, to me, this thing is fugly. And I LIKE the judge line. Oh, well. I’m sure others like it.
I have to say…you’re kidding right? I think I’ll stick with my Keltec KSG with 15 rounds of 12 gauge 2 3/4″ #4 buck for the home.
It’s Edsel of firearms. I look at it and wonder what the idiots on Taurus’ board of directors were thinking. It’s the last dumb act of a Darwin award winner when he says ” hey guys watch watch I can do.”
Interesting concept, but it looks kind of awkward to me. Probably good in snake country, but being used to conventional pistols, I think it would take a lot of additional practice to get myself up to the skill level where I’d be comfortable depending on something like this in a home defense situation. Also a .410 wouldn’t be my first choice for a defensive weapon, but with 000 buck or slugs, well, I certainly wouldn’t care to stand in front of one!
I have a Tuarus Ragingbull 454 Casull and I call it a jihadi bus disrupter .
