Does this surprise anyone? Those who wish to take our rights understand that this is a culture war. Children who played with pretend guns are less likely to fear real guns when they grow up. Those who learn to shoot with BB, Pellet, Airsoft and/or PCP gain understanding and appreciation – and are extremely likely to wish to step up to real firearms when allowed.
This is part of the campaign to eliminate appreciation for our civil rights so that more people are willing, or even eager, to surrender their rights.

We already know of their efforts to ban a slice of bread that has been torn to look like a gun. They want to remove every thought of a gun from the public imagination, at least outside of action packed Hollywood movies.
