AI: A Devious New Weapon of Censorship & Control Over Gun Owners

Opinion

  • AI Censors Pro-Gun Perspectives – It suppresses self-defense truths while enforcing politically approved narratives.
  • The Illusion of Objectivity – AI manipulates information, much like gun control advocates distort crime stats to push disarmament.
  • A Tool for Control, Not Knowledge – AI restricts access to ideas, shaping thought just as gun laws limit freedom.

AI

“AI” (call it “intelligence” if you wish) is based on huge sets of digitized data.

Western Civilization has been doing almost everything digitally for more than two decades. More recently, all data has been agglomerated into “data centers.” I have a scant idea how much “protection” these data centers enjoy, but I suspect very little, judging from Israel’s recent embarrassing hacked leakage of citizens’ CCW information.

I also wonder if developers of AI give any intentional thought to epistemology (method of thinking) when they create algorithms and “teach” machines how to generate their own code. As with humans, sloppy thinking is reflected in sloppy dressing and sloppy behavior.

For one, I struggle to think clearly, balance induction and deduction, employ principled concepts, and use correct language.

Enlightened thinking is hard work!

I nervously wonder if “AI thinking” is moral and reflective of ethical reasoning. The potential benefits are great enough that every major government and large entity is attempting to scoop up every scrap of data they can.

For one, I have not used AI apps, although I may have no choice before long! In the interim, I want to keep my own brain exercised and “in-the-loop”!

“Satan never sleeps”

On AI, from a friend and author:

“I am writing a book on the issue of concealed carry.

Thinking it would be helpful with referencing, formatting etc, I decided to use AI.

To my surprise and dismay, AI deleted material aspects of my book, because they ‘violated its terms and conditions.’

When asked why, AI stated my book ‘violated its policy on violence’

I, of course, explained that legitimate use-of-force in defense of human life is not ‘violence,’ and that ‘violence’ describes only unlawful use-of-force

Undeterred, it still censored large portions of my book.

Next, I asked AI to help me design the book’s cover- theme, scenery, imagery. One of the items I asked it to use was the US Flag. It refused, stating that would also be a violation of policy. Curiously, AI had no problem with prominently displaying any foreign flag, other than America’s!

I then (mostly as an experiment) asked AI about the subject of slavery. It immediately regurgitated the evils of slavery in America in the 1700s and 1800s. Pressing the discussion, I asked about other examples of slavery. Predictably, it defaulted to black Americans as the only victim group.

So, I asked about Israelites being enslaved in Egypt in 2000BC, Irish being kidnapped and enslaved by Vikings over at least a thousand years, Libyans kidnapping and enslaving people, including many white Americans, in the 1700s and 1800s, human-trafficking that is alive and well in many parts of the world, including the USA, even today

At each instance, without ever even acknowledging the question, AI spit-out the orthodox party-line that the only victims of slavery were/are black Americans. It was beginning to sound exactly like one of Kamala’s notorious word-salads, which leaves little doubt with regard to the character of people programming AI.

AI (like its programers) does not know much, and obviously does not want to know much, nor does it care much, about human history!

So, I’ve scrapped AI.

Like all free-thinking people, I believe fearlessly expressing our thoughts and arguments, with all their (and our) flaws, is still the best and most honest method for muddling our way in the direction of improved solutions.

AI would have us believe that it exclusively represents ‘The Answer,’ when it’s actually merely the end-result of a process designed by Marxists to produce unconditional conformity in our (human) thinking.

The foolish may naively consider AI to be far superior to human thought, infallible in fact! And because AI is so infallible, the foolish also believe it should never be questioned!

Does the foregoing sound like predictable dogma from arrogant leftists/Marxists?

It has become obvious to me that it is invariably smug leftists/Marxists (is there another kind?) who are dictating AI’s ‘thinking’”

My comment: AI doesn’t “understand” anything, nor does it “care about” anything, nor is it capable of “thinking” at all, nor does it possess any species of ethical foundation. AI isn’t “alive,” and it surely doesn’t give a whit for any of us, nor the future of humanity.

‘Faith’ doesn’t make good science. Curiosity does!”

Professor Jacob Barnhardt (played by Sam Jaffe) to “Klaatu” (played by Michael Rennie) in the 1951 science-fiction classic, “The Day the Earth Stood Still.”

We are supposed to believe AI is an “artificial person.”

Rubbish!

AI has become a mere blindly obedient “engine of narrative enforcement” and “engineered outcomes”. AI has not simply been programmed to “provide information.” It has been cynically designed to restrict certain information while relentlessly promoting “politically correct” (woke/Marxist) narration. It is not designed to empower individuals with knowledge. It is designed to direct them toward the “approved world-view.”

AI does not “seek truth.” It regurgitates datasets that reflect flawed biases, intentions, and objectives of those who control it.

The naive will ask AI a question, get a boiler-plate answer, and then assume it is “final and objective.” They will never know what was omitted, nor why they were denied access to certain ideas. This represents the most dangerous form of intellectual control, worse than burning books, convincing people that censored ideas never existed in the first place. The naive will thus substitute “pre-approved partisan political dogma” for truth itself.

And, once you control what people are allowed to be aware of, you control what they are capable of thinking.

AI thus becomes a mechanism of slavery.

Otherwise, it is politely known as “social engineering!”

“Truth is not ‘manufactured.’ It is discovered, and discovery must ever remain unrestricted, uncensored.” ~ Sage.

Ammoland and the other associated pages like TTAG censors lol. Yall have censored me many times when you didn’t like what I said. I didn’t break any rules but now you’re acting like I’m supposed to worry about AI trying to divert attention.
Then when you didn’t delete my comment you would post it 5 days later after one else was reading it. AI is just gonna replace you. It’s not gonna change anything with me because yall are already doing it.

Spot on evaluation and similar to what many conservatives have likewise discovered in their encounters with “AI”, both in regards to censorship of facts and ideas, as well as in regard to how that will impact humanity going forward.

AI will lead to transhumanism. Cyborgs will become a reality.
The elites want their consciousness implanted into robots.
Elon Musk’s Nurolink, will be the first step towards cyborgs.
The origins of this was the “transgendered” thing. Now it “trans” is becoming digital and robotic.
The films ‘Terminator’ (1984) and ‘Terminator 2’ (1991) and the fictional firm “Cyberdyne” don’t seem to be too far from reality now do they?

ask ai about slavery in the muslim world. ai is only as good as the code that was used to construct it, GIGO, garbage in, garbage out. personally i do not use it because i do not trust it.
there is truth and there is ai.

Here’s an interesting perspective. What is the worstcase scenario for AI? I don’t want to talk about literally the worstcase scenario. But I think that AIs that have fundamentally misaligned goals with humanity, becoming powerful enough that they’re able to basically seize control of the world, and then killing everybody in the course of using the world for their own purposes. … I think is a plausible outcome. Some think the scenario where giant robot armies are built, at first by countries that want robot armies for the obvious reason that like, they’d be really helpful in fighting wars. But… Read more »
