Southern California –-(Ammoland.com) Â Sheriff Bill Gore said he will protect the citizens of San Diego so we have no need to protect ourselves.
Somehow Sheriff Gore missed the thousand of crime victims in August. Most victims were unarmed and defenseless. Here are a few examples from a very long list;
A local merchant’s group put up a $10,000 reward after a half-dozen women have been attacked from behind and assaulted in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego.
An elderly homeowner was robbed of her money and jewelry after two armed men forced their way into her home. The robbery took place in broad daylight.
A convenience store was robbed by a masked gunman. Police believe this is the thief’s second convenience store robbery in the last week.
Two men were finally captured after they shot and murdered a San Diego barbershop owner four months ago.
A known gang member was freed after a mistrial for an attempted violent rape in Balboa Park.
An armed thief robbed a pizza parlor in the Palm City area of San Diego. The thief forced the employees to open the store safe.
Those are a few of the many rapes, assaults and murders in San Diego County last month. These victims were denied the right of self-defense by Sheriff Gore. The Sheriff says he can’t issue concealed carry permits to ordinary citizens while many other California Sheriffs do exactly that. A 3 judge panel of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals called Sheriff Gore’s disarmament policy unconstitutional!
The citizens of San Diego will remain disarmed victims until the full court rules or Sheriff Gore changes his mind.

Elections do have consequences and this Sheriff should have already been one of them. The reality is that most people don’t pay attention and they don’t vote with any degree of intelligence or understanding of the issues that are invoved. Astounding as it seems, 30% of the voting public cannot name which party controls which house in the Congress, probably don’t even know what Congress is or how it is chartered!
I think the San Diego citizens should tell the Sheriff he doesn’t need any firearms the citizens of San Diego can keep him safe, then during the next elect vote for his opponent.
As a retired Peace Officer I would like to know how big a dept this Sheriff has? 100,000 deputies?? Enough to station one every few feet 24 hours a day? He is an Idiot. He needs to first convince all criminals in his county to turn in their guns first and then give up their life of crime. Next he needs to convence them to rat out all of their fellow criminals.
The fact that this puke is in Kalifornia told me all I needed to know.
I don’t know what else to expect from Gore. When he was with the FBI, he was the agent in charge at Ruby Ridge when Weaver’s wife and son were gunned down. The boy shot in the back running to the house and the wife while she held her infant child. He believes the only ones responsible to carry guns should be wearing badges. That really worked in Ferguson!
This fool never was a cop. He is a 30+year FBI agent who was in charge of the Ruby Ridge fiasco. He was appointed undersheriff by his longtime family friend Bill Kolender who then left mid-term and appointed this idiot interim sheriff. This guy hates the Second Amendment (no duh) and the thought of citizens exercising their God-given right gets his panties in a wad. That being said the morons in SD County elected him when he ran knowing his proclivities. I did 28 years as a deputy sheriff in San Diego County and thank God I never had to… Read more »
Open letter to Sheriff Gore,The average American citizen has MORE right to keep and carry a gun than any cop soldier or politician.WE HAVE OUR OWN AMENDMENT.Are you in a coma or have you never read the Constitution YOU SWORE to defend,Where do people like you come from? Can you read?
He says this with impunity, knowing that the majority of Californians let alone the rest of the nation fail to realize the the Supreme Court of the United States has declared that law enforcement agencies are under not legal obligation to defend the public at large. Perhaps someone should call him out on this.
This also from the man who gave us Ruby Ridge. I am unfortunate enough to live in his jurisdiction and campaigned against him when he ran last time. Unfortunately no one is running against him for reelection.
Twenty years ago,my City imported a Police Chief like that.We got rid of him pretty quick. Sadly,we now have an entire administration so far to the left they have fallen off—-BUT–we have an election in Nov.,and we have one decent candidate who actually stands a chance.Pray for us here in Shreveport Louisiana.
Another bad Sheriff?, good thing MOST sheriffs uphold the Constitution!
