Gun Owners Achieve 96% Success Rate In Helping Elect Pro-Gun Candidates
Florida –-(Ammoland.com)- Perhaps the most significant Florida Primary Election race for gun owners was the House District 43 race, where antigun incumbent Ron Schultz (R-Homosassa) faced progun challenger Jimmie T. Smith (R-Inverness).
Schultz rated “D -“ by NRA and “Anti-Gun” by USF was challenged by Jimmie T. Smith who has an “A” rating from NRA and a Pro-Gun rating by USF.
With NRA’s endorsement and support, Jimmie Smith pulled off an upset and defeated Rep. Ron Schultz, the only incumbent to be defeated in the Primary. Proving that “term limits” imposed by the gun voters on election day are the most satisfying form of term limits.
NRA and USF endorsed 27 candidates in Primary races. Of those candidates, 26 Won their races and 1 Lost for a 96% success rate.
We are now looking forward to the November 2, 2010 General Election with great hopes and determination to elect more candidates who are committed to protecting and preserving our Second Amendment rights.
