Fairfax, VA -(AmmoLand.com)- The 2015 Connecticut legislative session adjourned last week and your efforts to defend your Second Amendment rights against a few misguided bills have paid off.

Throughout the session, leading national anti-gun figures put considerable effort and money into pushing three bills that would have taken away Second Amendment rights without due process of law. Thanks to your persistent calls and the dedicated efforts of a group of Second Amendment defenders in the legislature, these bills never made it to a vote.

While this session was a small victory for the gun owners and sportsmen of Connecticut, there remains a lot of work to be done to repeal the egregious anti-gun laws enacted in 2013 that do nothing to address violent crime.

Your NRA will remain forever vigilant in defending your Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage.
