SAINT PAUL, MINN. –-(Ammoland.com)- The Minnesota Gun Owners Political Action Committee today announced their endorsement of Tom Emmer for Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District.
“Tom Emmer has earned the Minnesota Gun Owners Political Action Committee endorsement because of his solid pro-gun record,” said Mark Okern, Chairman, Minnesota Gun Owners PAC.
“Tom has demonstrated a commitment to preserving the civil rights of Minnesota’s gun owners and the Second Amendment over many years in public office.”
As a member of the Minnesota legislature, Emmer voted for several bills that protected the Second Amendment rights of Minnesota’s gun owners, including: range protection, carry permit confidentiality, and the Minnesota Citizens Personal Protection Act. Tom voted against many anti-gun bills, including a ban on the private transfer of firearms.
