St. Paul, MN -(Ammoland.com)- Making an investment in conservation leaders of the future, Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever announce the Conservation Career Fair and Shooting Sports Clinic at the 2015 National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic presented by Federal Premium Ammunition.

No cost for coaches and students, the Saturday, February 21 event will highlight future careers in the field of conservation and provide instructional seminars on shooting sports topics.

“Creating conservation leaders for the future is an important consideration for Pheasants Forever and many agencies throughout the country who value our natural resources,” commented John Linquist, Forever Shooting Sports national coordinator for Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever. “We are excited to provide educational resources to young, future professionals who have an interest in the field of conservation at the 2015 National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic.”

All of the efforts made today by Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever have little impact without future conservation leaders taking a stand for wildlife habitat conservation. With this in mind, Pheasants Forever has become a leader in youth initiatives among other conservation groups and looks to continue youth efforts as part of its national event. To date, chapters across the country have mentored more than 300,000 youth in the outdoors, and local chapter events are now reaching more than 50,000 kids on an annual basis throughout the country.

National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic will be the nation’s largest trade show and convention for upland hunters, farmers, sport dog owners, and wildlife habitat conservationists. The event will also highlight Pheasants Forever’s accomplishments in the host state of Iowa, home to 100 Pheasants Forever chapters and three Quail Forever chapters. Local chapters account for 18,624 members statewide who have spent over $40 million to complete 111,724 wildlife habitat projects.
