Raton, NM -(AmmoLand.com)- The Whittington U’s Practical Pistol I Course is the Introductory to Intermediate level Defensive Sidearm instruction that focuses on the Everyday Implementation of the Firearm Tool into our lives.

The WU Practical Pistol series focuses on Violence as a Means of Last Resort with the defense of us and our loved ones as part of an overall lifestyle change.

Practical Pistol I will cover:

  • Classroom Instruction
  • Fundamentals of Defensive Marksmanship
  • 3-position presentation technique
  • Principles of Cover
  • Static Fire Drills
  • Movement/Principles of Cover on Reactive Fire Range

Note: This is a progressive curriculum. We require students to take the courses in succession: PPI – PPII – PPIII – Masters.

Whittington U is the firearms training division of the NRA Whittington Center. At Whittington U you will receive hands-on training from experts in the fields of defensive firearm instruction and precision, long-range shooting.
