Newington, NH –-(Ammoland.com)- SIG SAUER, Inc., is pleased to announce that Team SIG member, Lena Miculek, was named the Ladies Division Champion at the Zombies in the Heartland 3-Gun match, which was held in Grand Island, Nebraska. Miculek was crowned the division champion after she bested a talented field of 21 female competitors by more than 82 points, en route to a 10th place overall finish amongst all competitors.
Throughout the three days of competition, Miculek opted to compete with a SIG SAUER P320 chambered in 9mm along with a SIG SAUER M400 rifle. The SIG SAUER pistol and rifle combination proved accurate, as Lena placed 2nd overall in two of the 10 stages of fire designed to simulate hypothetical shooting scenarios of a zombie pandemic.
“Anytime you can come home with a win, it’s a great accomplishment, especially when you consider the level of competition and challenging course design of this year’s match,” said Lena Miculek. “One of the major reasons I chose to compete with SIG SAUER firearms this year, was the inherent accuracy that comes with each model.
