NRL Announces Butch’s Oklahoma Shoot Precision Rifle Match

SANTA ANA, Calif. -(Ammoland.com)- The National Rifle League, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and education of precision rifle shooting through a range of outdoors-related public interest activities, announces that the sixth match of the 2017 NRL season will take place in Oklahoma.

Butch’s Oklahoma Shoot, presented by Butch’s Guns, will take place September 9th – 10th in Woodworth, OK. Registration and opportunities to sight-in will be that Friday. The 2-day match will feature some of the most challenging stages up to date with unpredictable winds.

Forrest “Butch” Fjoser will be the match director for Butch’s Oklahoma Shoot. Butch is the owner of Butch’s Guns, a member of the Oklahoma Tactical Shooters rifle club, and has been involved in the firearms and precision rifle industry for 23 years.

His experience includes being a RO, competitor, and match director. Butch stated that competitors should expect a “fun and challenging long range match.” Butch will also be generously hosting a BBQ for all shooters on Saturday night.

Registration for the match opens on June 2nd, 2017 at 5PM PST. Match fee will be $200.00 and will be open on a first come basis. For more information about this national level precision rifle shooting event, visit their website.
