They’re Going to Come At Us From All Directions

Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus

USA -(Ammoland.com)- Gun grabbers in Congress and the Minnesota legislature just can’t wait to hop on the gun control bandwagon.

Take a look at what’s already in progress at Congress:

  • A bill, intended to just ban “bump stocks”, that is so poorly written it will wind up banning most semi-automatic firearms, trigger changes, and a host of other issues.
  • Magazine bans – making it illegal to manufacture or possess a magazine that holds more than ten rounds. This goes far beyond Bill Clinton’s magazine ban which was a ban on manufacturer only.
  • All sorts of “assault weapon” bans that would ban many commonly owned hunting and deer rifles
  • A ban on tannerite and other marking explosives
  • Requirements that gun owners register, get a license, and have insurance even just to own a firearm

And then here in Minnesota, we have many DFL candidates for Governor who are vowing to pass gun control legislation as soon as they sit in the Governor’s mansion, including Tim Walz, who held an A+ rating and multiple endorsements from the National Rifle Association.

We’re even seeing Republicans like Erik Paulsen come out in favor of gun control.

Now is the time to join the fight!

Here’s how you can help:

  • Call your United States Representative and let them know you are opposed to any new gun control measures. Find your member of congress at this link.
  • Call both of your US Senators and let them know the same. I know this means calling Amy and Al, who aren’t really on our side on this issue, but they still need to hear from you.
  • Senator Al Franken, Saint Paul Office, 651-221-1016
Senator Amy Klobuchar, Minneapolis Office, 612-727-5220
  • Contact your State Senator and State Representative in Saint Paul and let them know the same message. Find your state representative and senator at this link.
  • Support the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus

If you’re not a member, join today!

If you can give $200, $100, or even $25 or $10 – your support means a lot to us and allows us to stay active in the fight during what looks to be one of the most challenging periods for gun owners since 2013.

Thanks for being a part of our team. www.gunowners.mn

Yours in Liberty,

Not so “poorly written” but so craftily so they can pass a law that could not pass on its own. Far to many laws include this phrase in the title and text, “A bill to regulate XXXX and other purposes.” Other purposes Other purposes not defined or limited. THEY [undefined ] can always create a crisis and have some constitutional infringement ready and waiting to answer the crisis. Maybe the crisis is a spontaneous event like a hurricane or a flood. Or it may be an attempted killing by a partisan at a baseball practice, an event that is random,… Read more »

Wild Bill

@OV, If the little Teen Snot realized that all the federal income tax that is taken out of his pitiful pay day pittance, went to us, he would have an apoplexy. Heck of a storm last night, but checked every animal this morning, every horse, cow, calf, dog, and guest dog were dry, happy and hungry.

It’s looking more & more that Paddock was running a Benghazi type of gun sale to ISIS members in the USA. If that is the case, then these domestic terrorrists may have full auto weapons, and what do patriots have ? And these traitors want to pass laws to disarm us further ? I think it’s time to break out the rope and the tar&feathers. (for use after a proper trial and conviction, of course). Despite the fact that their infringing laws are null&avoid in the face of the US Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, they… Read more »

My post to Old Vet just disappeared without even being put on the forum. How can that be? It must have gone into the wild blue yonder.

@ Old vet, I hadn’t heard that but I am surprised Ryan outed anyone unless the person was trying to defend our guns. Ryan is an all out rino and needs to go back to Wisconsin and suck his thumb. McCain is farther out in left field now than ever before. He is just trying to make a name for himself by being the obstructionist. If he is on chemo for his cancer that can definitely affect his mind. He is just one of many.

Frankin is the poster child for stupid. I listened to him rake Sessions over the coals the other day. He has a hard time even making sense of his high powered ramblings. Sessions put him in his place and pretty much called him out for grand standing. Couldn’t make it as a comedian, not a bright star in congress, what is left for him to try. I know, cleaning the toilets in the capitol.

Samuel Stephens

If listen to Frankin speak, his political seech is better than hi comic routine.

Al Frankin, weasel extraordinare, poster child for the DemocRATic party, weasel as they are.

The lefties want registration, licensing and insurance to exercise our second amendment rights, but they would never stand for verified identification and intelligence to be able to vote. I would say letting ignorant, illegal, and easily duped morons cast votes is a much more dangerous thing.
