Why are so many scopes 3-9X? Is there a manufacturing problem that prevents it being 3-10X? I prefer 10X for magnification for long distance targets which forces me to buy a more expensive 4-12X scope. But I never use 12X. It may sound strange but I use the magnification that always makes the target appear to be 10 yards away. 5X for 50 yards, 7.5X for 75 yards up to 10X for 100 yards, which is the longest i am able to shoot in the DNR shooting ranges.
