Nevada – -(AmmoLand.com)- With the Nevada Caucus this weekend, we’re continuing our series of Democratic candidates and their anti-gun positions. Today I wanted to share Amy Klobuchar’s anti-gun agenda.
While NVFAC PAC is a state PAC and we don’t get involved in federal elections, these will be the people setting the tone for the anti-firearms policies we will be opposing in this election and the next legislative session in Nevada.
Amy Klobuchar Vows to: (directly from her website)
- Institute universal background checks by closing the gun show loophole.
- Ban bump stocks that can increase a semiautomatic rifle’s rate of fire to 700 rounds per minute.
- Ban high capacity magazines that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition.
- Quickly raise the age to buy military-style assault weapons from 18 to 21 and fighting to ban the sale of assault weapons.
- Provide grants to states to implement extreme risk provisions to empower families and law enforcement to keep guns away from people who show signs of threatening behavior.
- Close the “Charleston loophole” by giving law enforcement additional time to complete background checks.
- Close the “boyfriend loophole” by preventing people who have abused dating partners from buying or owning firearms.
- Establish a waiting period for sales of handguns and assault rifles, which law enforcement can waive in the case of an emergency.
- Prohibit the online publication of code for 3D printing firearms.
- Hold manufacturers and distributors of gun kits to the same standards as those of completed firearms.
- Provide funding for the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention to conduct research on firearm safety and gun violence prevention.
Last year a red flag law was passed by the Nevada legislature, and now Amy Klobuchar (and many Nevada democrats) are vowing to increase funding for programs in Nevada and nationwide that can strip your constitutional rights without an opportunity to defend yourself before a judge or jury. Why don’t you tell us what you really think? Actually, what you say about owners backing down is partially correct. Many would. If real shooting starts, then things might get interesting. I’m an old fart so I don’t mind dying trying to save the Constitution.
“The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” This woman is promising to break her oath of office and trash the constitution if she gets elected. To whom it may concern, In the Republic of the United States, the People are the ultimate power and authority. The People created the governments to protect the Rights of the People, not restrict and deny said Rights. Our servants in city, state and federal government have, repeatedly, disregarded the controls and limitations on their very limited power. Democrats have many attributes, common sense isn’t one of them.
The November 2018 general elections–that turned the House to Democrat control and almost made “Beto” O’Rourke a senator–had a total nationwide turnout of just under 50% of eligible voters. 118 million voters, with the majority in many cases voting Democrat. There are 124 million gun owners in the U.S. If they turned out in the same percentages as the overall, then only 62 million gun owners voted. Keep up that level of apathy, and we already know the outcome.

Democrats are the biggest threat to the United States of America. They are domestic enemies and just like Rome, we are being destroyed from within more than from outside of our nation. If you support a Democrat, any Democrat, you are aiding and abetting the destruction of this nation and are no better than they are and deserve the same treatment as any other traitor.
OK, let’s break this down. First, there is virtually no difference between any of the democrat candidates on ideology. At best they are classical progressives. At worst, Bolsheviks. The difference is not ideology or policy. The difference is simply temperment. When anyone of them tells you what they really offer you, the deal, here it is. Typical,”ONE BRAIN” Democrat, they want unquestionable power over every citizen at any and all costs.. An unarmed citizen is an easier TARGET for them…
Keep in mind Amy, that WE THE PEOPLE will NOT be disarmed without a fight and guess who the first to be dealt with will be ? It will be those same anti American, anti gun politicians and their families who will pay the price of their over reaching laws…
