Grandpa Biden is Telling Ghost-Gun Stories Again

U.S.A.-(AmmoLand.com)- Ol’ Joe is at it again with more fiery rhetoric about those scary guns. In his latest mumblefest, Biden almost managed to read a speech about ghost guns, cannons, and background checks.

Before telling the press about all the unconstitutional things he wanted to do with guns, he made it clear that the new gun grabs he’s proposing do not violate the 2nd Amendment. Because of course, Democrats would never violate the Constitution.

In his New York City Joint Press Briefing, Former Vice President Biden said, “We talk like there’s no amendment that’s absolute.” It appears he meant to say, “no amendment is absolute.” Sometimes his sentences get a little mixed up. Biden went on to say “When the amendment was passed it didn’t say that anybody could own a gun and any kind of gun and any kind of weapon. You couldn’t buy a cannon when this amendment was passed.”

First of all, Joe, when the first 10 amendments were ratified, Amendment #2 (the one you hate the most) never said that anybody “couldn’t” own any particular kind of gun or weapon either. So, your implication that the second amendment is not absolute doesn’t work with rational thinking people. The second amendment is far more absolute than it is not. “Shall not be infringed” was our Founding Fathers’ way of making it perfectly clear and absolute. As for your little cannon comment, the cannons used in the Revolutionary War were owned privately. So that one falls flat as well.

Joe Bidens Cannon Comment: False Fact Checked

Had it not been for privately owned cannons we would all be speaking with a British accent.

We understand Joe and the Democrats want nothing more than to make it impossible for American Citizens to own guns because the lawful American Citizens are their biggest political opposition. Tyrants always create chaos in society and disarm the good guys before turning free people into subjects of the state. For more on this read my article about New York “Governor” Kathy Hochul and her attempt to do exactly that in New York.

Joe went on to talk about the ever-so-frightening “ghost guns” and how the Justice Department is creating an “Intensified National Ghost Gun Enforcement Initiative.” “Ghost guns” are the latest scary thing being used to terrify people who don’t know any better.

In another intellectually stimulating statement from Joe, he said, “Look, one of the things we focused on, the Attorney General and I and we’re getting to the point where I think we’re gonna be able to have a real impact on it, includes going after ghost guns.”

When the gun grabbers refer to “ghost guns,” what they are really talking about are guns that they can’t track. As they relentlessly push for universal background checks which would give them the serial numbers and location of every firearm exchanged in America, they use the term “ghost guns” as a way of implying that guns should be traceable. If there was ever a question of whether guns should be traceable by the Federal Government, let me clarify. They should not. Our Founding Fathers wrote the second amendment with the intention that the guns owned by private citizens were none of the Government’s damn business. Unfortunately, as Democrats condition new generations of people with their gun lies, a large portion of our society has no idea just how Constitutional it is for Americans to own guns that the Government knows nothing about. It was why the second amendment was written. But don’t worry, you can be sure that your neighbor with the Biden bumper sticker on his Prius is convinced that these frightening “ghost guns” are lurking around the cul-de-sac.

So, while the gun grabbers continue to create fairytales and mislead people on the topic of guns, real Americans will continue to call them on their lies.

Sorry, Joe, you’re not getting the guns. They are off-limits to you.

The 2nd Amendment is not a privilege. It’s your right.

Well Joe, if amendments are not absolute, then how about we start with Amendment 16? Let’s get rid of the Congress’ ability to tax our income. Then I might be able to agree with you on your ridiculous comment…

Finnky

They bill of rights is an integral part of the constitution. If we’re picking parts of the constitution to toss, how about we start with the part authorizing the presidency?

It’s nothing new. Joe has been around for a long time. People like Joe started writing/passing totalitarian legislation before Joe was born (which was a long time ago). Most people don’t care about guns – they want the government to take the earnings of one group of people and give it to another group of people. Once they are in, the politicians drive never-ending gun control. Franklin Roosevelt was elected by people born in the 1800s and early 1900s. The majority of Americans at that time (just like today), wanted other people’s stuff. Roosevelt gave it to them and then… Read more »

people who have voted for him time and again are not too bright either

If “no amendment is absolute” I imagine the party of slavery, jim crow, and the KKK are looking forward to re-instituting involuntary servitude. Joe got that wrong too; it appears to be the Democrats that want to “put y’all back in chains.”

Wild Bill

The the amendments are expressions of our Rights. What Brandon is really saying is no Right is absolute. If Rights are not absolute, then government can infringe them down to a nullity, and government becomes absolute.

Thats funny I have a SUBARU and in the last election 8 voted for TRUMP not that alzheimers ridden Neanderthal that is inhabiting the wh at this time. The satan worshipping DEMONcrats can all go suck on sour pickles.

@Dan Wos – Don’t be too sure about that neighbor with the biden sticker on his prius. Anonymity can be your friend, and in many places those items qualify as camouflage.

I’m fortunate enough to not live in such a place, but have travelled through them on too many occasions.

One of my MIL’s neighbors has a prius in their driveway with a big 556 sticker in the back window. So many anti’s don’t have enough clue to recognize what it means. 🙂

StreetSweeper

I have a “peace symbol” on my Jeep, that qualifies as camouflage most everywhere.

Is it this one?

True Americans agree, my guns are not your business. But those true Communist Democrats have a completely different view than Mr. Wos. The democrats belonging to the social-commie-party firmly believe that once a gun is in the hands of a citizen, they are just a murderer-in-waiting. So, since every gun is going to cause the gun owner to murder someone, we MUST have traceability, as a first step towards confiscation. There is no other reason to insist on a whole system and a branch of autonomous government designed for eventual confiscation. Which suits the communists just fine. Quotes I have… Read more »

That’s their thinking exactly. And it never dawns on them that if gun owners were murderous, that all of the anti-gunners would already be dead. But as law abiding citizens, not only do we follow the laws on guns, no matter how ridiculous, but we also follow those other pesky laws about not killing or shooting people except in self-defense or defense of others.

I have two Subarus, a red one and a white one, and have had two blue ones in the past. Maybe I need to buy that blue WRX- STI, so I can have red, white and blue all at the same time. Mine were built in Indiana. Last time I checked, it was part of the US. I don’t have any stickers on mine. I like to keep ’em guessing. I am an independent voter, and my political test is the Second Amendment. If a politician does not trust We The People with whatever arms we see fit to keep… Read more »

Had a yellow Subaru for a year. Color choice was for my daughter, stick shift was for me. They are great if you need all wheel drive, though many seem to buy them as status symbols. Mine suffered infant mortality at just over a year and just under 30k miles. She died doing what she was built for when someone ran a stop sign and sent me sliding down the road on my roof. As for American cars, I have yet to find one with sufficient headroom. Pickups are great, but pointless when not hauling or towing – unless you… Read more »

Excellent article!

“Tyrants always create chaos in society and disarm the good guys before turning free people into subjects of the state.”

“Ghost guns” are the latest scary thing being used to terrify people who don’t know any better.”

Add to the scare tactics like Covid (virus, masks, vaccines), Ukraine, Russia, fuel, inflation, global warming, plastic spoons and forks & straws, crime, etc.

Good article Dan. It points out that the poor old puppet does not have the mental capacity to even read off of the teleprompter; his handlers are factually wrong; and that they want the concept of rights to be diminishable, by government, down to a nullity. That is a lot in a single article.

Kiss my Prius, Subaru and gun owning ass! Try to stay on topic!!!
