I’m a Streamlight Fan and own several of their lights.
I like the PolyTac and use it on my HD AR. While there are brighter lights and fancier lights, as a simple 100 Lumen on/off or strobe, it’s easy to use. Doesn’t break the bank (<$70 online), and handles abuse. Also one of the few lights that works best with CR123s, but will work an AA battery in a pinch (though it halves the output with an AA).
