A Temporary Restraining Order has been granted to Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) and Gun Owners Of America (GOA) in our lawsuit against BATFE’s new “engaged in the business” rule! That rule is to go into effect on Monday, May 20th, 2024.
A Texas Court has granted a temporary restraining order to prevent the BATFE from enforcing its “engaged in the business” rule against Virginia Citizens Defense League members, Gun Owners of America members, Tennessee Firearms Association members, residents of the state of Texas, and Mr. Jeffery Tormey.
We were told that VCDL, GOA, and TFA were the only gun groups to file suit. Two other suits involve some states, gun stores, and individuals.
Unfortunately, if you live in Virginia and are NOT a member of the Virginia Citizens Defense League or GOA, you are NOT covered by this temporary restraining order.

Unfortunately if you live in Virginia and are not a member, the ruling doesn’t apply to you? Bravo Sierra. So if I live in Texas one day more than I live in Oregoneistan and am a Texas citizen, I can have a silencer/suppressor in Oregoneistan without a mother may I card because of Texas law? I don’t think so. It should be applied to everyone. Making it apply to only those that have membership is making a selected class. This is one of the ways that Capitalism dies and defines the hill that socialism is built on. The rulers of the welfare state seek to rob revenue and profit thru their support of far left populist agenda’s. How else do you control people once you’ve destroyed the Constitution?
