“DEI” is represented as a method for somehow “making up for past crimes” perpetrated by Western Civilization via deliberately disadvantaging (often outright excluding) Christians, Jews, heterosexuals, white people, and those with no criminal history via strictly enforced (quota-driven) hiring and promotional policies.
DEI has been enthusiastically embraced by the BHO and JRB Administrations and forcibly foisted upon all federal agencies, our (un)armed forces, and federal contractors.
DEI is also embraced by hip private-sector employers, in a cynical effort on their part to curry favor with leftist politicians.
DEI insists that only gender (however defined), unconventional sexual orientation/preference, ethnicity, favored religions (Christians and Jews need not apply), and personal politics (invariably leftist) are to be considered in hiring and promotion.
Competence, ability, genuine qualifications, personal morality, and even criminal histories are all to be ignored.
This is precisely the way we get incompetent political hacks (like our current HS Secretary) casually appointed to important positions for which they are utterly unqualified and unhappily upon which other people’s personal safety depends!
And, as I implied in yesterday’s Quip, DEI puts this nation in a poor position even to detect, much less thwart, terrorists- as we have seen.
Indeed, DEI puts all of Western Civilization in a poor position to advance in any way!
Ever-failed DEI needs to become extinct!
“Unbiased Excellence” needs to (at long last) re-emerge as our civilization’s “Prime Directive,” and as a nation, we need to “allow chips to fall where they may” instead of allowing sleazy leftists to artificially/arbitrarily manipulate them in an underhanded, cynical effort on their part to seize and consolidate political power- as leftists always do!

Yes, merit matters as the New York Firefighters sub-organization insists. That’s why nominees to Trump’s cabinet like Matt Gaetz as Attorney General and Peter Hegseth as Secretary of Defense need to be called out. The woke mind worm is a parasitic disease and everywhere it is embraced is ripe for destruction. Anything and everything woke is dumb, illogical, feelings-oriented, and unqualified/incompetent.
