Omar ‘White Supremacy’ Slur a Democrat Talking Point That Can Lead to Mass Violence

“I would say our country should be more fearful of White men across our country, because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country,” Fox News quoted Rep. Ilhan Omar in a story about the Democrat congresswoman’s online spat with Vice President JD Vance, in which one of her “tweets” from 2018 was thrown back in her face. “[W]e should be profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of White men.”

A sidebar is needed here. The adjective “white” in this context should not be capitalized. Fox is reacting to a discriminatory “woke” move by the Associated Press after it announced, following the drug overdose death of petty criminal-turned-saint of leftist rabble rousers George Floyd, that it’s stylebook would capitalize “black” but not “white.” Omar was speaking when she made that assertion. The capital “W” was added by those reporting on it.

“I am referring to the rise of white nationalism in an annual report issued by the Anti-Defamation League that said white supremacists were responsible for 78 percent of “extremist-related murders,” Omar responded on X.com (note she doesn’t capitalize it).

ADL, which doesn’t find it convenient to mention that all the angry mob protests against Jews in this country have been organized and conducted by the political left, has been milking that conflation smear for years. That has resulted in narrative parroting propaganda outlets like Reuters posting blaring headlines with meaningless terms like “White supremacists behind over 80% of extremism-related U.S. murders in 2022.” (Reuters adheres to that silly “Black/white” nonsense as well. And as another aside, the late Aaron Zelman of Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership considered ADL leadership “the worst enemy of the Jewish people.”)

Looking at the “study” fraudulently posted as authoritative, what’s striking are the numbers, especially considering that in the year of the “report,” 2023, per Pew Research citing government statistics, “13,529 U.S. gun murders and non-negligent manslaughters for which data is available. Rifles – the category that includes guns sometimes referred to as ‘assault weapons; – were involved in 4% of firearm murders (the whole category).

So, we go to the ADL report, and out of those thousands, they’re drawing conclusions they represent as valid from “In 2023, domestic extremists killed at least 17 people in the U.S., in seven separate incidents…The 2023 murder totals include two extremist-related shootings sprees, both by white supremacists, which together accounted for 11 of the 17 deaths.”

As horrible as those were for the victims and their survivors, the number of misfit losers committing the violence is statistically insignificant, and using them to fuel racial division, distrust, and hate is not only wrong, but also evil.

Coming from a member of Congress who influences not just her immediate constituency, but whose words are amplified by media to reach millions, is dangerous. Especially when it is then politically “legitimized” and turned into official government policy, as was calculatedly done by the highest levels in the Biden administration.

“AG Merrick Garland says white supremacists are the biggest terror threat to US,” The Post Millennial reported in 2021. “Attorney General Merrick Garland told the Senate Appropriations Committee that white supremacist groups constitute the largest domestic terror threat for the United States.”

Remember that Omar’s initial comment that sank in with her supporters, before she “clarified” it years later using ADL “statistics,” was that “our country should be more fearful of white men across our country, because they are actually causing most of the deaths.” And that, of course, is utterly disprovable nonsense, as “The Left’s favorite lie: Widespread white-on-black violence,” by Ben Shapiro documents:

In 2019, for example, 3,299 white Americans were murdered; 566, or 17 percent, were killed by black perpetrators. That same year, 2,906 black Americans were murdered; 246, or 8 percent, were killed by white perpetrators. Adjusted for population size — there are far more whites in America (235 million) than blacks (47 million) — this means that approximately one out of every million white Americans killed a black person in 2019, while 12 out of every million black Americans killed a white person. Such numbers are reflective of a norm: every year from 2001 on, the number of black-on-white killings has approximately doubled the number of white-on-black killings. When it comes to violent crime generally, the same sad truth applies. In 2019, there were 562,550 reported violent black/white incidents. 472,570 were black on white — 84 percent.

If what Omar, the Democrats, and the media are claiming were true, imagine if the numbers were reversed based on population percentages. And here’s the thing: It’s not really ultimately about race—that’s just one hook being used to draw in the ignorant and the angry.

It’s about turning the U.S. into the very totalitarian violence monopoly the Founders feared and codified the Second Amendment to resist.

Look at what Democrat rhetoric has and continues to unleash, with flat-out belligerent communists marching in the streets of New York demanding open borders through the elimination of ICE and calling for rebellion against “Nazis,” that is, “white supremacists,” that is, the brush they paint traditional white Americans with. Follow that thread and see how the “movement” is financed by George Soros’ foundations (just be prepared to have the ADL join in calling you a Nazi) and then look at all the Democrat politicians with their snouts in that trough who parrot the talking points – the “new” Democrats anti-gun fanatics like David Hogg want to replace the Old Guard with.

Knowing what they intend, it’s only natural that Democrats in general (because they’re awful quiet about the mobs) and radicals like Omar make citizen disarmament a keystone in their agenda. And she’s cheered on by useful Moms Demand Action idiots, who have no idea about what violence monopolies do to those they no longer find useful.

One just wonders if the rope-selling capitalist bankrolling them knows what such mobs, that we can expect to see more of, know what they’ll eventually have in mind for him.
