Massachusetts Supreme Court: ‘Self-Defense’ a Defense in ‘Accidental Killing’

A case involving a Massachusetts license to carry holder set important self-defense precedent in the Commonwealth. The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court handed down an opinion that self-defense is an appropriate defense in the event of the accidental killing of an innocent person. The case has been remanded for further review.
