Charlotte, NC –-(Ammoland.com)-  Yesterday, Governor John Kitzhaber signed House Bill 4045 into law. This important Concealed Handgun License (CHL) confidentiality law went into effect immediately.

Sponsored by state Representative Kim Thatcher (R-25), HB 4045 was a necessary legislative fix because, under previous law, the private personal information of every person holding a CHL in Oregon was at risk of being divulged to the public.

Please contact Governor John Kitzhaber and thank him for signing House Bill 4045 into law.  You can contact Governor Kitzhaber by e-mailing him through the online form found here.

The NRA thanks you for your participation during the 2012 legislative session. Your efforts have resulted in win for Oregon CHL holders.
