Arizona – -(Ammoland.com)- Has the use of the word “teenager” by the old media given criminal teens a sense of immunity?

You see it again and again. Trayvon Martin is constantly referred to as a teenager, as though that somehow absolved him of his crimes.

Most male children, who are brought up in intact families, do not become predatory creatures in their teens.   But for those who do not have strong, moral, male role models in their lives, especially if this is the default position in their community, predation is a common role.

In a home invasion in Georgia, the homeowner grabbed his gun as his door was broken down.  As he confronted the three invaders, they yelled at him.

From wrdw.com:

“The first thing he hollered, we is teenagers, don’t shoot me,” Green said.

Green said he didn’t care what age they were, they were breaking into his home.

“If you are old enough to do a crime, age doesn’t matter. Doesn’t matter whether you’re a teenager, you’re grown. If you can do the crime, your punishment, it shouldn’t matter. I had my gun in my hand and I just started firing at them,” Green said.

A six foot plus 17 year old can be just as dangerous as an older criminal, maybe more.   As I read media reports, it seems that being 17 should give some special sort of invulnerability to bullets and jail. The juvenile justice system may give some invulnerability to jail, for a time.   But words do not stop bullets.

The “progressive” position seems to be that “children” are inherently good.  That is not true.  Children are inherently selfish and amoral.  In Christianity, this is recognized as original sin.  Each child is a wild animal that must be civilized and taught moral virtues.  This is much harder to do in a single parent home.    If teenagers are told that they are expected to steal, as many media reports seem to imply; and that it is excused because they are “teenagers“, we should not be surprised when large percentages of them become actual criminals.

Kids today think life is game of get high , mess with the police , fight to show they are tough , shoot when they loose, No comprehension of work when they sling dope and make more , no care if they shoot the competition.

I remember years ago when a 6’2″ 210 lb burglar dressed in all black and wearing a black face mask was killed by a Police Officer in the city next to ours when he attacked the Officer during a 2 AM burglary. He had already been arrested numerous times and he was only 14 years old. He got what he deserved. .

I, for one, am not going to ask to see the ID of a Low-Info-Obummer-Voter as he storms in through my front door. I’ll check his ID later so I’ll know where to send condolences.

Billy the Kid was an early teenager at 13 when he killed his first victim.

At 12 I was working on the farm for my father and throughout my teenage years while in school, I held a variety of jobs. At 17, I was in the Marine Corps serving my country. We have had “teenagers” dying for our country since it began. Those people were MEN, who knew right from wrong and how to properly serve their country; not IT serve them! The pukes who try to claim immunity as teenagers need to grow up and not be treated as special people. Where our the protests about how our LEOs our treated? Why are we… Read more »

the latest is they want to make the police use tasers!! These people want their laws that they come up with to be followed while they break all the other laws!! Why not make the police carry water balloons to stop the criminals that are carrying automatic weapons?? Next time their son gets gunned down in the streets,or someone steals from them, call for a protest march, don’t call the police!! Now that they destroyed Ferguson, where are they going to shop for food? They should have thought about that when they threw that brick!!!

Paul

All the places that were burned were places where people shop for food and other things that are needed so all they did was to shoot themselves in both feet, to bad they did not think about what they were doing now they have no where to shop for food. That’s their tough luck, now when they want to go to the store they have to go to the next town over, I hope they are happy with what they have done.

The only issue I have with the Ferguson fires is I’m willing to bet they were set by NON local animals who are only there because they can do this crap with impunity. It will be of interest to find out where those arrested actually call home.

Janek

How about a “We is Teenagers” card. They can put it in their wallet along with that other ‘card’ they play?

Janek

No more ‘free’ Holiday turkeys for Ferguson! Or ‘free’ anything else anywhere else! Why subsidize the demise of American culture and ‘rule of law’?

Remember Michael Brown in the cap and gown ? Media dont show thug pics,..gold grill, flashing gang signs, selfies with guns,.etc.etc. Trayon like Michael were under influence narcotics,..punk thugs ! And both these ‘young back men’ thugs got what that had coming ! Save that ‘we be teen’ bullshit ! We dont care ! This liberal media paints this trash like angels !

Back in the 90s I worked armed security and a 15 year old wanna be gang banger came around the corner where I was at, he was yelling that he was going to shot every cop and Chinaman that he saw. I was wearing LAPD blue and yeah he I was wearing body armor at the time and he fired twice hitting me both times. I returned fire and hit the kid 4 times killing him on the spot, he was only 16. What was a 16 year old doing with dads .45? I still have nightmares because of that,… Read more »

Missed the Cleveland protests about an hour ago.
Started at 3 and ended at 5:30p
Shutdown a major road into and out of Cleveland.
But no looting or burning.

Phil

Teenager means nothing!
They are just as likeky to stab or pull the trigger.
Look at the children carrying AK-47s in Africa and the Middle East.
Age has no barring in life and death!

Cea

“Look at the children carrying AK-47s in Africa and the Middle East”…
…or Chicago, or L.A., or Detroit, or or or…

They (undisciplined kids everywhere) have no idea of mortality, or respect for life. Just “give me what I want!”
Or, “What I deserve!” But don’t hold me responsible. I’m not responsible…

Eric

Then the media portrays these teens as angels who did not deserve to get shot, No sympathy here criminals and thugs get their justice one way or another. But it’s a case of bad parenting that started the whole situation , aggravated by peer pressure to commit crimes. As far as Mr Brown he was a robbery suspect that punched a Police officer , I do not blame the officer for shooting him. The people demonstrating and committing arson should realize that a law abiding citizen or officer can shoot an arsonist in most states under defense of life and/or… Read more »
