Sacramento, CA – -(Ammoland.com)- Assembly Bill 1674, authored by California Assemblyman Miguel Santiago (D – Los Angeles), would make it a crime to attempt to purchase more than one firearm of any type in any 30-day period.
If this sounds familiar, these rules already apply to handguns.
Additionally, it would delete the private party transaction exemption to the 30-day prohibition, making it illegal to purchase more than 12 total firearms in a year.

Gone will be the days of picking up a couple of lowers at a time and paying one DROS fee. If this bill passes, you’ll have to make four trips to the same store and pay a DROS fee per lower.
Want a new rifle and a shotgun for next year’s hunting seasons? You better plan out your purchases a couple months in advance.
Think some smaller gun stores are going to be able to stay in business after this bill passes? Think again.

AB 1674 is supported by well-funded gun control groups like the Brady Campaign and the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence.
It is their priority mission to stop ALL gun sales nationwide.
By rationing all gun purchases to one every thirty days, the Legislature will be giving them a decent start.
How about, instead, we stop them in their tracks. Sign the petition and let the Legislature hear your voice.

Gun owners vastly outnumber the bad guys, perhaps as much as twenty to one. Gun owners also outnumber both political parties. Problem is they’re not unified — yet. But the charlatan king has unified the armed community in the same way that he’s divided all those other groups, e.g., race, gender, income and politics. For that I’m thankful and hope gun owners vote en bloc in the next election.
And if you don’t push back, in no time it will become one per year.
You are right Buff, we have to push back, but it will take years and millions of dollars to take this through the courts. I for one, don’t have that kind of money to spend on the project. Now, who could we turn to for help to fund the law suit that will get this law overturned? Hmmm.

This insanity is spreading very quickly because under the Democrats people get free stuff–and ultimately, you cannot defeat free and the DCP (Democrat Communist Party) knows that!
Very true, Michael, and the small groups are the U.S. Congress, the legislatures of the various states, the S. Ct, the S. Cts of the various states, and the press, the various governors,and their henchmen in the bureaucracies.
Gun owners are probably the largest group of individuals is the US and we allow these very small anti-gun groups to run over our rights. Unless the 70 million gun owners who don’t support the NRA and most likely don’t vote we will continue to see our rights taken away.
