Virginia – -(Ammoland.com)- Fredericksburg Virginia is getting ready to do their THIRD violation of state law by having a gun buy-up that ends in the guns being destroyed and it could mean great prices on unwanted guns for smart buyers.

Virginia Citizens Defense League tried suing over the first one, but we didn’t have standing. We are working to fix the law so that we will have standing in the future.

Alternatively, if we had a real Attorney General, this could be fixed by the Commonwealth suing Fredericksburg. Elections are next year.

Since the money ends up being donated to some select charities on the seller’s behalf, if you offer hard cash to the sellers, you can probably get some nice guns for a song.

Some gun owners have done so in the past by parking on the road that leads to the police station, and holding up some signs indicating they are offering cash for guns.

Save good guns from being destroyed.

More info : Annual Fredericksburg Gun Give Back Event Is Dec. 10 2016 .

Real American

This is not actually true. Do YOUR research.

@ RA and Ammoland, These following words in 18 USC 922(a)(5) “… knows or has reasonable cause to believe does not reside in … the State in which the transferor resides…” allows us to sell or buy as long as we remain ignorant. So if Jimbo from Michigan comes to the Wannamacher Tulsa Arms and Collector show and to the table of Texas Fred and wants to buy a pistol from TF’s private collection and TF says, “What the heck kind of Yankee accent is that?” and Jimbo replies, ” I am from Texas!” The transaction is legal. If TF… Read more »
