Provo, Utah –-(Ammoland.com)-Evil Roy is one of the top cowboy action shooters in the world.
From a humble beginning in Durango, CO, Evil Roy, also known as, Gene Pearcey, joined the United States Marine Corps (USMC) in 1963.
After his service, he went on to being a very successful business man. He owned two Honda Motorcycle dealerships in Texas, built and operated a movie theater, patented a structural system for earth sheltered homes, built small airplanes and been a real estate broker.
If that was not enough, Evil Roy raced motorcycles and competed in martial arts.

Evil Roy was always a fan of firearms, but did not even start shooting cowboy action matches until he was 50 years old. Since that time, he has won the Overall World and National Championship, accumulated 8 world & 10 national championships and over 30 State and Regional Championships. Evil Roy has also been inducted into the Single Action Shooter Society (SASS) Hall of Fame.
Staying true to his savvy business experience, Evil Roy has owned and operated the Evil Roy Shooting School for the last 10 years. He has taught courses in Sweden, New Zealand and Norway. He has also designed and co-designed many products including Action Target’s Evil Roy Practice Target, Cimarron Evil Roy revolver, Eagle grips, holsters, shotgun belts and other products for Mernickel Leather and produced and sold the Evil Roy Training DVDs with Kyle Isenhart (Happy Jack). He is also very active in helping promote Vihta Vuori powders, Competition Electronics, and Redwing Knives.
